Commissioner Holly Davis mocks vaccine critics

By John Labriola -

At a recent Citrus County Commission meeting, when confronted with her use of the word "hogwash" to belittle the concerns of COVID-19 vaccine critics, Commissioner Holly Davis was caught in a lie when she denied ever using the word in her life. See the video above.

Davis also cited supposedly "official statistics" regarding hospitalizations, which are contradicted by the latest data from covid vaccine early adopter states like Israel and the UK, where a majority of covid hospitalizations and deaths are among the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated. She also ignored the fact that people who have already contracted covid and recovered have high levels of natural immunity that no vaccine can provide, and that more than 16,000 Americans have died from the covid vaccine so far according to the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database, which is known for vastly understating the actual number of vaccine deaths.

When commissioners were asked if they would at least sponsor a resolution in support of Gov. Ron DeSantis' efforts to stop vaccine mandates, Commission Chairman Scott Carnahan said he didn't want to "get in the middle of what the federal government is doing," despite the fact that many cities and counties across America have risen up in defense of freedom by passing resolutions strongly condemning unconstitutional vaccine mandates.

So our county commissioners have no problem mocking vaccine critics from the dais, but they refuse to go on the record condemning federal government overreach when the Biden administration violates the civil liberties of the citizens they were elected to represent. It's all hogwash.

  1. I am neither praising nor condemning COVID or the vaccinations, but when the government first tries to bribe citizens then threatens them into doing something, it is time to question the motives. Whether the vaccinations are good or bad for people, let them make their own decisions.

How quickly we forget that when Donald Trump was President, the democrats were screaming that these were all poison and they refused to take the injection. However, when President Trump was out of office, suddenly these serums were the be-all, end-all cures and citizens are being forced to get 'the jab'. Bottom line - people should make their own decisions for their own body, not the government.

It is sad when an official is not truthful but sadder yet when they are caught.

  2.  Does grooming children happen? I’m sure it does, but not here. Live and let live. No one is coming for your children and grandchildren in this county.Oh, and by the way, I received a death threat for Labriola’s incendiary vitriol against me. The hate in his group of followers is just sad. Don’t believe everything you read about me. Sit down and have a cup of coffee with me, and you might find I’m more to your liking than you realize. I was joking with the Sheriff today that clearly “leftist me” (eyeroll) will be seeking to defund him. I have gone to the mat for increasing the sheriff’s funding several times. Again, don’t buy Labriola’s poison.
