Commissioner Holly Davis wants Citrus County to promote homosexuality to children

By John Labriola -

Citrus County Commissioner Holly Davis raised eyebrows at the Nov. 9 commission meeting when she declared that she wants our county libraries to be a place where children can access books promoting homosexuality as a positive lifestyle so they can feel at "peace" with becoming practicing homosexuals and/or pursuing transgenderism. (See video above.) Davis, a committed leftist, justified her heinous views by citing long-debunked claims that children are "born" homosexual. This propaganda myth pushed by the LGBT political movement has been thoroughly discredited by multiple scientific studies over the last 25 years.

What is true is that people engaged in LGBT lifestyles have much higher suicide rates than the general population. The logical conclusion to draw from this statistic is that discouraging children and adults from going down the path of homosexuality and transgenderism (or at least not encouraging them to do so) would SAVE LIVES. But like other LGBT activists, Davis uses the suicide statistic to arrive at the opposite conclusion because of her commitment to the myth that children are "born gay" and must therefore be socialized into accepting homosexuality in their lives rather than rejecting it (because they supposedly would otherwise kill themselves). Science, common sense, and the Bible all dictate that the exact opposite is true. Homosexuality and gender dysphoria, unlike race, are not "immutable characteristics" but are just as often products of indoctrination as they are of tragic early childhood molestation. Moreover, contrary to Davis' assertion, there is no spiritual "peace" in homosexuality and transgenderism: it is ruinous to the soul, because it is an offense against nature and God.

Adding insult to injury, Davis attempted to validate her adamant support for LGBT propaganda displays in the county libraries during the month of June in celebration of "Gay Pride Month" by putting a blasphemous twist on the Gospel's admonition to "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's." As anyone familiar with this Bible passage knows, our Lord Jesus Christ was talking about paying your taxes, not surrendering your children to the state for LGBT grooming so they can become easy prey for homosexual child predators. It's disgusting that a Citrus County commissioner would have the gall to abuse Scripture in such a way from the dais. But she wasn't finished. She then accused the many parents who showed up at the commission meeting of being ungodly and hurting their children by daring to complain about county-sponsored LGBT propaganda displays! It was a truly astonishing display of arrogance, disrespect and contempt. Commissioner Davis owes every parent and resident of Citrus County a huge apology (but don't expect one soon).

  1. A very good assessment of the response to community members at the Commissioners meeting. There was however another issue that is troubling. A woman rose to speak (when all others had finished)and discussed her PRIVATE meeting w/ Mr. Head regarding the display issue, at which time he assured her that the issue has been taken care of..(unlike the unprofessional reception John received at the PUBLIC Library Board meeting when asking the same ..we don't really know...question). Commissioner Davis proceeded to call her testimony BRILLIANT (wink wink nod nod)..this stunk of contrived dialogue that is unbecoming of a public figure and worse, the support of private closed door meetings as a way to address/solve a public issue. The question still exists..will the Citrus County libraries continue to promote seductive youth gender ideology propaganda in the future?

    1. Not sure what you are trying to imply. I called and asked to meet in the same way any Citrus County resident can.

  2. Commissioner Holly Davis.. I respectfully and sincerely, suggest that YOU-->KNOW...
"We are a Christian Nation, ...ergo... Remember that 'We are ...ONE NATION UNDER GOD "
Please READ the Bible, where in, you will find a DEFINING, LAW of GOD... "Train-up a child as they should go, that they might not depart from it." It is EXTREMELY against Gods will,, in Teaching->1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders, or and student, any form of sexual deviance, that is abhorrent to the FACT.. that "God made Adam and Eve, NOT ADAM and STEVE." God also precisely directs... "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." I am only 77 years old, and slightly recall, the school teaching about the parts of our bodies, and Pro-Creation...... That said... I add, "God sent a FIERY and RUEFUL message, to the population of Sodom and Gomorrah, for their sexual IMMORALITIES," and remind myself that, SEX in any form should remain discreet, and behind CLOSED DOORS... and... any form or manner of sexual normalcy ...OR... ABNORMALITY... should NEVER be TOLERATED on any PUBLIC Form or MANNER.
In closing... I pray god will forgive all those that transgress HIS Teachings. Amen.

  5. John, you are a disgusting, vile, bitter, hateful, sick, depraved individual. Your hatefulness is not welcome in Citrus County and I hope the community and the commissioners continue to make fun of you and your idiotic, backwater, QANON believing, whack job friends.

  6. Mary, nothing vile or hateful about John's reporting. He made a very good point that the argument that Gay is genetic is generally rejected by scientific research. We need to protect our youth from disinformation by labeling it correctly, not promoting it. You need to watch a little less MSNBC and CNN so you have some time for the truth.
