Commissioner Scott Carnahan thinks you're a joke

By John Labriola -

Americans are rising up like never before against left-wing indoctrination and homosexual grooming of children in our schools, our libraries and our public institutions in general. After being disrespected, demeaned and demonized as "domestic terrorists" by liberal elites, outraged conservative voters from Virginia to the west coast showed their muscle earlier this month by scoring stunning upset victories in some of the bluest states and counties in the nation.

It's no secret that Citrus County is no bastion of liberalism. In fact, Citrus voters rejected the Biden/Harris ticket last year by a whopping 71-to-29 percent margin  one of the widest among Florida counties.

So you would think our nominally Republican county commissioners would have taken notice when large numbers of parents and citizens came to speak out against LGBT tyranny at not just one but several Citrus County Commission meetings over the course of the last six months. But you'd be wrong, at least when it comes to some of our commissioners.

After more than a dozen citizens took time out of their day to show up at the Nov. 9 commission meeting to demand an end to LGBT propaganda displays in Citrus County libraries, Commissioner Scott  Carnahan (apparently not realizing his mic was on) demonstrated his contempt for them by muttering, "The library stuff's a joke." (See video above.)

No, Commissioner Carnahan, wanting to protect children from LGBT grooming and indoctrination is not a joke; it's every Christian's and American's duty as parents and concerned citizens. The LGBT movement is demonic in its relentlessness and has a proven track record of pushing the boundary ever further into filth when parents and citizens don't stand up and nip their garbage in the bud. What starts out as grotesque LGBT propaganda displays in the libraries soon evolves into those monstrosities of depravity known as Drag Queen Story Hours, in which heavily made-up flamboyant homosexual pedophiles in dresses roll around on the floor with little children as they read them sick stories about gender fluidity and LGBT unicorns.

But if you have a problem with any of this, Commissioner Carnahan thinks you're a joke. So maybe the voters need to teach him a lesson in the next election. Then hopefully the joke will be on him. In the meantime, you can email him at scott.carnahan@citrusbocc.com
