Ralph Massullo and the dark side of politics

Image
By Billy Cayce - Dr. Ralph Massullo is our current state representative in the Florida State House of Representatives for District 34. He's also running for this year's Republican nomination for Florida State Senate District 10. But did you know his medical practice recently paid millions of dollars in fines for Medicare fraud?  In December 2020, Massullo and his partner Dr. William Welton III of Suncoast Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center agreed to pay the federal government a $2.3 million fine for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by submitting false claims associated with lesions.  As reported on its website, the U.S. Office of Inspector General alleged that Suncoast's shareholder employee falsified patient records and examination findings, including falsifying the size and type of excised lesions (e.g., benign or malignant) and misclassifying lesions in size and type, leading to unnecessary follow-up procedures on the lesions in which sizes were gros...

The Next Move

Image
By Frank D. Lovell - OK, Build Back Better is in trouble thanks to two Patriotic Democrats. I knew there had to be Patriot Democrats who realized the seriousness of what is happening in America. Although there are many moves being made against America, the most pressing has to do with election integrity. Now we have Joe telling us about how he will not flinch, will not waver, in his support of the Democrats' effort for "voting rights" and will fight all enemies of America, foreign and yes domestic. I’m sorry, I hate to generalize, but this guy has lied to us every step of the way from day one about everything. All efforts by Democrats involving our elections are to basically gain control of them and control of America. They refuse to clear inaccurate information in the voter registration lists of the 50 states assuring us of an accurate count. They, at their very core, are against voter ID, which is merely a way of assuring the person voting is an American citizen. On the...

Where did the money go?

Image
By Van Yandell - “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”  –  Exodus 20:3  The move by our government toward “redistribution of wealth” has become obvious recently. The elderly have received a notice of an increase in Medicare Part B premiums; new taxes and increased taxes have targeted the working class to compensate non-workers and others. We are also seeing an effort by government to make us more dependent on them. The destruction of the U.S. dollar is obvious. This is not isolated to the U.S. The economy is worldwide, and a few countries influence all others. The U.S. at this point is the world leader in determining the world’s economy, but that likely will not last. Get ready for the Yuan (Chinese currency) to become the currency standard for the world. This may come sooner than we think. I’m really surprised it hasn’t already happened considering the boondoggle made by Washington of this country’s economy. Many believe the Euro will become the world money sta...

Letter to the Editor: Warning from Sodom and Gomorrah

Image
Remembering my sixth grade elementary class, when the teacher spoke of archaeology, it sparked a sincere interest in me in becoming an archaeologist. As time passed, I became interested instead in horses and "girl things" that exclude getting muddy by digging in dirt. Recently, however, I came across a few articles that prove what is in the Bible. According to one article, the famous marine underwater archaeologist Robert Ballard, discoverer of the Titanic shipwreck, became interested in the Biblical flood. So with his underwater equipment in Turkey at the Black Sea, 400 feet below the surface of the water, he found evidence of a catastrophic event - a shoreline with shells that were carbon dated to about 5000 B.C., around the time of Noah's flood. The remains of pottery and man-made structures were found. The article stated that the archeologist "thinks he has found proof that the Biblical flood was actually based on real events." There have been other archaeol...

Citrus County Commission betrays Christian conservatives

Image
By John Labriola - A divided Citrus County Commission betrayed the county's Christian voters last week by refusing to stop taxpayer-funded LGBT propaganda displays in our county libraries, despite impassioned and compelling pleas from a standing-room-only crowd at the Jan. 4 commission meeting.  By a 3-2 vote, the commission rejected a motion by Chairman Ron Kitchen, which was seconded by Commissioner Scott Carnahan, to prohibit LGBT promotional displays in the libraries. Commissioners Holly Davis, Jeff Kinnard and Ruthie Schlabach all voted against Kitchen's motion, thus allowing the displays to continue.  The decision came more than half a year after two elaborate, slogan-laden LGBT displays with rainbow flags in the Inverness and Crystal River libraries in celebration of "Gay Pride Month" last June generated intense public opposition, which intensified as county staff insisted the displays would continue despite the many complaints.  Before they voted, commissioner...

On our Jan. 6 political prisoners

Image
By Laura Loomer - As our nation quickly approaches one full year of the Joe Biden/Kamala Harris administration, Americans watched this last week as the communist fake news media continued to glorify the protests that took place on January 6th, 2021 as an “assault on democracy.”   Over the past year, more than 700 Americans in 45 states have been charged in what has been described by the Biden Regime as the biggest criminal investigation in history. Thousands of Americans who showed up to Washington, DC, on January 6th to protest the fraudulent 2020 elections have been targeted by the FBI, harassed by the weaponized Department of Justice, and many of the nearly 700 who were arrested are being held in jails across the country in appalling conditions. Here in America, the year is now 2022, and while we are not exactly a third world country…yet, we can honestly say that much like what happens in actual third world nations and failed states, the American government is politica...

Sandra Himmel: Citrus County Schools Triple Dipper Queen

Image
By Dave Jaye - For the last five years, Sandra Himmel, Superintendent of Citrus Schools, was Triple Dipping: taking a $136,124 salary and $409,708 pension at the same time to do the same job and not paying 3% of salary into the Florida Retirement System like other Florida public employees. (See https://tripledippers.org )  Himmel took the taxpayer-paid $409,708 cash pension bonus on September 30, 2021, and was supposed to retire on that date as Himmel promised in a contract with the Florida Retirement System. But the $409,708 pension cash bonus was not enough for Superintendent Sandra Himmel . Himmel petitioned for and got a special politician’s permission to continue collecting her huge $136,124 salary and avoid paying 3% of salary ($4,083 a year) into the Florida Retirement System until her current election term expires on Nov. 30, 2024. Florida taxpayers are on the hook for $36 billion in unfunded Public Employee Pension system obligations, a $1,674 liability for every man,...

How I Saw Them

Image
By Susan Constantine-Perfido - Body language expert Susan Constantine-Perfido   analyzes the personalities of three Citrus County commissioners based on her observations at the Jan. 4 county commission discussion on LGBT propaganda displays in the libraries.  On Holly Davis: She was biased and she'd already made up her mind from the very beginning. She was very controlled, disengaged and not listening. When someone already has made a decision, you see very little movement in their body language. She was very stark, solid and stoic. When people were talking about their stories, you could see in her facial expressions if she agreed with them. Whenever it was an LGBT speaker, you could see her head nod in agreement. When it was someone from the other side, her facial expression and eye movement showed contempt. Her voice was condescending and smug. Her tonality and her demeanor all reeked of smugness. On Ruthie Schlabach: She's not fit to be in a leadership position. She's mo...

“Their Oath and Sacred Honor”

Image
By John Woods - An oath of office is a Vow that must be adhered to so as to maintain one’s Sacred Honor…It not only pledges one’s Sacred Honor but states that one will be truthful and pursue their duties with Integrity…  The main reason one takes an Oath is to espouse one's Fidelity and instill confidence in the Citizenry…  If the Oath means nothing to an Office Holder, then how can the Citizens have any confidence in those Office Holders to faithfully carry out their duties?  The Oath of Office of a Citrus County Commissioner is as follows:  "I do solemnly swear that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States and of the State of Florida, that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State; and that I will well and faithfully perform the duties of Commissioner for Citrus County, Florida, upon which I am now about to enter. So Help Me God."  The Oath includes words such as:  Oath: Whic...

Letter to the Editor: Thoughts on Jan. 6

Image
In 1969, I spent a good portion of my year learning about "Peaceful Protests and Riots." I was a young officer in a unit of the New York Army National Guard. The unit was in Brooklyn, N.Y. First we trained and then, when needed, we assisted the NYPD and other police units in dealing with the unrest in Brooklyn which quickly turned into rioting. The riots were quick to spot. They consisted of, other than peaceful chanting and singing, yelling and screaming, glass breaking, looters running away with stolen merchandise, sometimes shots being fired on both sides, occasionally people in the way, fires and mayhem. Not unlike the 574 violent protests across the country, lasting about 1,000 days/nights, during 2020, that preceded Jan. 6th, 2021 at the Capitol. These disturbances were barely covered by the mainstream media and were always referred to as peaceful protests. Lo and behold, Jan. 6 arrives and it is being referred to as an Insurrection by the Democratic Party and the mains...

Call to Action: Stop LGBT indoctrination in the libraries

Image
By John Labriola - A months-long fight over LGBT indoctrination in Citrus County libraries may be about to get resolved, but we need your help to make sure the right decision is made!  The Citrus County Commission will be discussing whether to stop LGBT propaganda displays in Citrus County libraries this Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. in the County Commission Chamber, Citrus County Courthouse, 110 Apopka Ave., Inverness, FL 34450 . The public will have an opportunity to speak during the Open to the Public portion (Section D) of the meeting before commissioners vote on the issue later in the meeting.  Citrus County's libraries have been peddling LGBT propaganda during the month of June in celebration of "Gay Pride Month," with rainbow flag displays featuring books and slogans promoting homosexuality and gender dysphoria. Despite numerous complaints, Library Director Eric Head has insisted the displays will continue unless he is ordered to stop.  At a time when more and more boo...

Anniversary rally for Jan. 6 political prisoners to be held in Clearwater

Image
By John Labriola - In the year since the Jan. 6 "Stop the Steal" rally, Fox News' Tucker Carlson and others have raised troubling questions about the FBI's role in planning the breach of the Capitol that took place that day. Was the violence that broke out a classic false flag operation to smear conservatives and provide a rationale for the Biden administration's ongoing efforts to strip away our constitutional rights? Why are hundreds of ordinary American citizens still being held without bail on charges as minor as entering a public building, while hundreds of violent BLM and Antifa rioters have long since had their cases dropped despite causing the worst violence and property destruction the U.S. has seen in decades?  As these and other questions remain unanswered, a One Year Rally For Our Political Prisoners will be held on Thursday, Jan. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. in front of the Pinellas County Jail, 14400 49th St. N., in Clearwater, FL 33762.  Scheduled speakers in...

Clean and fair elections

Image
By Frank D. Lovell - Citrus County Elections Supervisor Maureen “Mo” Baird has stated that there is no fraud in Citrus County. Canvassing efforts in Citrus County alone have revealed voter anomalies of 17 percent. But it doesn’t end there: We have 67 counties in Florida, and already a number of them are showing voter anomalies. I don’t believe we can rely on our local and state government to ensure we have updated voter registration lists in each county. Let’s not forget how slim a margin Gov. DeSantis won by. The Free State of Florida could very well have become the Woke State of Florida. We must take the initiative as Floridians. Floridians in each county need to contact their election officials, members of their political party and ask what steps they are taking to ensure Florida has updated, clean voter registration lists. Any responses you receive should be sent to Defend Florida. Check out their site at www.defendflorida.org . Get involved. We are not alone. Frank D. Lovell i...

Up the Creek

Image
By Van Yandell - Acts 1:8:“You will receive power and the Holy Ghost will come upon you and you will be my witnesses  in Jerusalem, and all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.” We were in Malindi, Kenya working with a team of 20 people, mostly from Texas. Our church assignment was Kua Munu about 10 miles inland. The church building was concrete block, which was unusual in itself. Most churches were sticks and mud with a grass or palm frond roof. Some of our most productive and spiritual church services were held under a canopy of acacia trees. As typical in any church, a collection plate was passed around. As normal in Africa, items other than money were placed in the plate. It is not unusual to see ears of maize (corn) or a coconut in the offering in an African church. A few Kenyan shillings, but very few, were also collected. The men sat on one side of the church and the women on the other side. Children made no noise whatsoever and did not dare l...
